MISSION
Québec-Océan seeks to support Québec researchers and the training of students to promote excellence in oceanographic research and dissemination of knowledge.
OBJECTIVES

To actively promote the development of oceanographic research in Québec; |

To encourage the planning, leadership and execution of collaborative national and international oceanographic programs; |

To offer a dynamic and professional training environment, at the international level, to the group’s students; |

To facilitate access to major infrastructures, essential to oceanographic research; |
|

|
To provide administrative and technical services to its members; |
|
6
|
To consolidate Québec’s knowledge in oceanography, particularly in arctic/sub-arctic research; |

|
To encourage the establishment of new researchers; |
|

|
To support knowledge transfer to the public and private sectors. |
