Congratulations to Louis Bernatchez, professor in the Department of Biology at Laval University and member of Québec-Océan, who will soon be promoted to the rank of chevalier of the Ordre national du Québec. This distinction recognizes Louis Bernatchez's exceptional scientific contributions to the enrichment of fundamental knowledge on the evolutionary forces that govern the genetic diversity of populations and their application to many fields such as aquatic and terrestrial wildlife management, aquaculture and biodiversity conservation.
