Co-researcher members are professors or researchers employed by a Québec university, and contribute significantly to the consortium by bringing specific expertise to its research programming.
Researchers who are part of an International Joint Research Unit and are employed by a foreign institution, but are hosted in a Québec university for a multi-year period, are also co-investigator members of Québec-Océan, if they contribute significantly to the group and bring specific expertise to its research program.
Collaborating members are qualified researchers in marine sciences who bring specific expertise to the research program of Québec-Océan. Collaborating members may be employed in Québec or outside Quebec, in a university or in the government (federal or provincial).
