R Workshop

Québec-Océan in collaboration with the BIOS2 training program on applied numerical methods in biodiversity science to offer you a Software Carpentry workshop from November 22 to 26.

 This workshop is a unique opportunity to learn about R and programming for research! Come and develop your skills to be productive in collaborative research projects (scripting, version control via git and GitHub, and programming concepts in R).

 The course will be given online, in English, with bilingual support. There will also be in-person meetings at UQAR-ISMER over 4 sessions on November 22, 23, 25, and 26, 2021 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (Eastern time). On-site, you will have the opportunity to benefit from a French speaker.

 Participants will be encouraged to help each other and apply what they have learned to their own research problems.

 Please note that the number of participants in-person is limited for the moment to  20 people.
