Abrupt drop in oxygen in the waters of the St. Lawrence
The decrease in oxygen observed in the deep waters of the St. Lawrence Estuary is such that it represents a direct threat to marine life in this ecosystem, which is increasingly weakened by the impacts of the climate crisis, according to the latest observations of several researchers members of Québec-Océan.
