250 million microoraganisms in a drop of the St-Lawrence river
The St. Lawrence River is a reservoir of microorganisms essential to life. Each drop of water in the river contains more than 250 million of them, of which barely ten percent are known. Karine Lemarchand (UQAR-ISMER) tells us about this invisible world.
