Gulf of St. Lawrence: record temperatures and no ice

At a depth of 300 m, the average water temperature in the Gulf of St. Lawrence exceeds 7°C for the first time in over 100 years. Peter Galbraith, researcher at the Maurice Lamontagne Institute and member of Québec-Océan, discusses the higher-than-average water temperatures in the Gulf of St. Lawrence and the meteorological phenomena involved.
