ISSEO is a project led by students at Laval University (Quebec) to demonstrate that it is possible to conduct oceanographic research with a low carbon footprint.
They have planned an oceanographic mission with a research question, a sampling plan, and protocols—all adapted for a 13-meter-long recreational sailboat.
